This first floor studio has large front windows that illuminate the entire space! Previously a storefront, this quirky space showcases architectural features such as the original tin ceiling, exposed brick walls and hardwood floors. Located in the heart of Cherokee Street, this studio is perfect for a live/work situation and has an eat-in kitchen and added storage space. The Cherokee Street is a vibrant center for commerce, culture and creativity in St. Louis bringing together contemporary art, architecture and culture, all within a historic district. Galleries, design studios, art exhibition spaces, public art projects and artists’ studios assemble on Cherokee Street. The street emanates a beatnik vibe that locals perpetuate and visitors embrace. As you explore, take time to chat with shopkeepers, bartenders and neighbors. Serving as the street’s unofficial tour guides, most have fun facts about the area’s history and tips on how to make the most of your time here.
